Bacoga BCG R13 is a cleaning concentrate used for removing lime scale, rust, and boiler stone in water systems. It is suitable for most materials such as steel, copper, brass, and galvanized pipes, and can also be used in under-floor heating systems with low circulation.

The chemical cleaning of water and heating systems for the removal of lime, boiler scale, and rust with BCG R13 cleaning solution is a safe and fast method to restore the full function of a system. BCG R13 is suitable for all water systems, including drinking water pipes, heat exchangers, water heaters, boilers, instantaneous water heaters, cooling systems, and cooling towers.

Application Area:

BCG R13 pipes cleaner is used as a cleaning fluid in a circulation process for all water systems that are calcified and/or rusted. It contains a high proportion of inhibitors that protect the material against corrosion during cleaning. BCG R13 is also suitable for cleaning pumps and valves.

Bacoga BCG R13 User Instructions:

Features:

• BCG® R13 is a water-miscible, slightly foaming liquid with a pH value of ≤0.5.
• BCG R13 dissolves rust, lime, and boiler scale.
• The cleaning rate increases when the BCG R13 solution is warmed up. However, the solution temperature should not exceed 50°C.

Instructions for Use:

• Dilution: BCG R13 can be diluted with up to 2 parts of water (1 part BCG R13 and 2 parts water). The solution is circulated through the system to be cleaned. The pH of the diluted solution is ≤1.
• Cleaning Process: During the cleaning process, BCG R13 cleaner is consumed, and the pH value increases. At a pH of 6, BCG R13 is practically totally consumed.
• Cleaning Valves and Pumps: When cleaning valves, pump parts, etc., the parts are placed in a 50% solution of BCG R13. Heavily calcified systems may require several hours of cleaning.

Check:

• BCG R13 is consumed during the cleaning process, and the pH value increases. Use pH indicator sticks to check the residual effectiveness. If the BCG R13 cleaning solution is totally consumed (pH value of 6) and crusts are still present, add a fresh solution after draining the used one.
• After removing or softening the crusts, remove the used solution. Heavily dilute the used solution with water before adding it to wastewater.
• Rinse the cleaned system several times with plenty of water. To neutralize acid residues, add 0.2% soda for the penultimate rinse. The final rinse should be done only with water.
• Refill the cleaned system with water as quickly as possible to avoid corrosion by air.

Mixing Ratio:

• BCG R13 cleaning liquid for pipes can be used pure or diluted with a maximum of 2 parts water.
