BCG KANAL Sewer Leak Sealant for Underground Conduits

Description:

BACOGA BCG® Kanal liquid sealant is a two-component system designed to eliminate water loss in sewer pipes. It must be used together with BCG HC 60 (reaction accelerator). Suitable for use with all common sewer pipe materials (plastic, cast, clay, concrete, lead), BCG Kanal sealer and BCG HC 60 can seal leaks both on the pipe itself and at sleeve joints. The combination crystallizes on and around the pipe, forming a mechanical seal that is both permanent and resistant to aging.

Note:

• Before sealing with BCG Kanal, the pipe must be thoroughly cleaned.
• BCG Kanal and BCG HC 60 reaction accelerator must not be mixed together.
• Both BCG Kanal and BCG HC 60 can be reused.

BACOGA BCG KANAL User Instructions:

1. Initial Test:
   • Shut off the sewer pipe and fill it with water to determine the extent of water loss.
2. Preparation:
   • Clean and block the sewer pipe using BCG stop-off bladder, stopper plugs, etc.
3. Application:
   • Step 1: Use a suitable pump to introduce BCG Kanal (without reaction accelerator) into the leaking pipe. Leave it in the line for approximately 1 hour. Then, completely drain the BCG Kanal sewer pipes sealant from the line and rinse the pump.
   • Step 2: Immediately pump the reaction accelerator BCG HC 60 into the sewer line and leave it for approximately 1 hour.
   • Step 3: Drain the reaction accelerator BCG HC 60, fully empty the sewer pipe, and rinse the pump. Repeat the entire process.
   • Verification: If no more HC 60 is consumed in the second process, the line is sealed. Otherwise, repeat the procedure. Typically, two processes are sufficient to ensure a successful seal.
4. Final Steps:
   • Mechanically remove any product residue.
   • Conduct a load test with pressure after 12-24 hours to allow the seal to cure.

Maximum Water Losses:

• The water loss quantity should not exceed 70% of the volume of the pipe sections to be sealed within 15 minutes.

Important:

• Immediately remove BCG Kanal drain sealant from objects (tiles, sinks, etc.) with water to prevent crystallization, which cannot be removed once it occurs.
• Observe standard precautions when handling chemicals.
• Keep out of the reach of children.

Disposal:

• Refer to the safety data sheet.

• Use pure.

Suitability for Storage:

• Store for up to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
• Protect from frost.
