BCG ABFLUSS Drain Leak Sealant for Pipes

Description:

BACOGA BCG® Abfluß liquid sealant eliminates water loss in internal drains. It is compatible with commonly used drain pipe materials, including plastics, cast iron, clay, concrete, and lead. The sealant addresses leaks in the pipe itself or at joints. BCG® Abfluss crystallizes upon contact with air, forming a mechanical seal over the leak. The BCG drain seal is durable and resistant to aging.

Note:

Before using BCG Abfluss, we recommend thorough cleaning for heavily polluted (greasy) pipes. For buried sewer pipes, use BCG Abfluss combined with BCG HC 60 (2 components).

BACOGA BCG ABFLUSS USER INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preparation:

   • Shut off the pipe and fill it with water to test and determine the extent of water loss. Be prepared for significant leakage during filling.

   • Mix the sewer pipes sealant liquid sealing agent with water.

2. Application:

   • Introduce the mixture into the defective system.

   • Allow the mixture to remain in the system for 1 to 2 days, depending on the size of the leak and the wetness of the area around the leak.

3. Sealing Process:

   • For shutting off the drainpipe, use BCG shut-off bladders and stopper plugs.

   • Ensure water loss does not exceed 70% of the volume of the pipe section to be sealed within 15 minutes.

Important Information:

• Immediately remove BCG Abfluss from surfaces (e.g., tiles, sinks) with water to prevent crystallization, which cannot be removed once formed.

• Observe standard precautions when handling chemicals.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Mixing Ratio:

• 1 litre of BCG Abfluß to 5 litres of water.

• Inadequate dosing reduces effectiveness.

Storage Information:

• 5 years from the date of manufacture. Protect from frost.
