BCG 30 E Heating System Leak Sealant (Up to 30L/24h)

Description:

BACOGA BCG® 30 E is an elastic sealant designed to eliminate water loss of up to 30 litres per 24 hours in heating systems operated with oil, gas boilers, gas heaters, or condensing boilers. It must be used in systems with press fittings.

BCG® 30 E seals all commonly used pipe materials, including plastics, metals, press fittings, and floor-heating systems. It forms an elastic seal over the leakage, eliminating water loss of up to 30 litres per 24 hours. BCG 30 E must remain in the system for a long-term effect. The sealing is durable and resistant to ageing. BCG 30 E sealer is introduced into the heating circuit using a filling pump (BCG G 20 or BCG G 21J).

Note:

• Proper use will not damage pumps and control valves.

• For leaks in combustion chambers, use BCG 24, BCG Spezial, or BCG TD.

• Before using the product, rinse the system thoroughly to remove deposits and impurities.

BACOGA BCG 30 E SEALANT USER INSTRUCTION:

For Heating System Leaks:

1. Open all mixer and heater valves fully.

2. Purge circulation pumps and leave them running.

3. Reduce the heating water by the required quantity of BCG 30 E liquid sealing agent.

4. Shake the sealant canister well.

5. Dilute the required quantity of BCG 30 E sealant (see table) and introduce it using the boiler fill and drain valve.

6. Empty and rinse the canister to use any residual product.

7. Keep the heating system operational for 7 hours, with full circulation and heating on.

8. The sealing process takes one or several days, depending on the nature of the leakage.

9. BCG 30 E must remain in the system.

Precautions:

• Observe the usual precautions when handling chemicals.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• For disposal, see the safety data sheet.

• Mixing ratio: 1 litre of BCG 30 E to 100 litres of heating water.

• An inadequate dose reduces effectiveness.

• Suitability for storage: 5 years from the date of manufacture. Protect from frost.
